STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY RETIREMENT SYSTEMS (SACRS)

A State Association of 20 California county retirement systems enacted under the County Employees Retirement Law of 1937. SACRS works with local volunteers and public pension leaders to provide a network of advocacy on behalf of California 1937 Act Public Pension Retirees to gain valuable insight into the issues. 
 

To ensure the highest levels of security to each of our clients, MMRO maintains SOC2 Type II Certification.  MMRO conducts annual SOC2 Type II Audits for the Security, Availability and Confidentiality Trust Principles.  The SOC 2 Type II reports focus on controls at MMRO relevant to the following principles:

  • Security: The system is protected against unauthorized access, use, or modification;
  • Availability: The system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed;
  • Confidentiality: Information designated as confidential is protected as committed or agreed

MMRO is a member of the National Association of Independent Review Organizations (NAIRO).  NAIRO was formed by the majority of URAC-accredited independent review organizations (IRO).  NAIRO is comprised of 29 members and is dedicated to protecting the integrity of the independent medical peer review processes. Utilizing the expertise of thousands of board-certified clinicians throughout the country, NAIRO members embrace an evidence-based approach to independent medical peer review, in order to help resolve coverage disputes between enrollees and their health plans
