As a URAC accredited Independent Review Organization (IRO), MMRO demonstrates its commitment to quality and accountability of health care review services.  MMRO offers a variety of services and is known in the health care industry for high-quality medical reviews, utilizing an extensive network of medical experts and consistently responding to regulatory needs.

MMRO’s experienced and dedicated staff offer a variety of solutions to a number of public sector State Commissions, Departments of Administrative Services, Departments of Insurance, and Departments of Financial Regulations, among other governmental agencies. In the private sector, MMRO provides services to large healthcare carriers (insurance company, HMO, Limited Health Service Organization, Voluntary Health Service Plan), self-funded group health plans, third-party administrators, union-sponsored (Taft-Hartley) plans, and other corporate organizations.

MMRO’s utilizes an extensive network of physician and ancillary care reviewers, and is committed to maintaining, and growing, this network through its well-trained and reliable credentialing team. The MMRO network is comprised of physician specialists that represent effectively all major licensed practitioner categories per the American Board of Medical Specialists (ABMS); American Osteopathic Association (AOA); the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS); the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine (ABPOPPM) or American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and virtually all major ancillary care specialist categories. 

MMRO imposes stringent credentialing standards and maintains a well-trained and credible credentialing team to provide a medical reviewer network that is guaranteed to offer an unbiased, accurate, and credible review using evidenced-based medical criteria as the sole factor in the review process.
